Michael Amidei is an creator, radio producer and co-host of "World Poetry Open Mic", blogger, musician, filmmaker and otherwise creative nutcase.
He has survived children's cancer (when given a 4% chance of survival), carried the Olympic Torch, worked with some of the best people in the world, performed both musically and as a radio host to millions of people, and, in an odd story that he may one day tell online, fought a mountain lion off with a bo staff.
(Yes, this is nerdy. Michael didn't tell people this story for a long time because of that.)
Michael also does things like get in staring contests with tigers before writing some of these entries. (He's not kidding).
He also writes about himself in the third person. Sometimes. But it always feels weird.
